Long running and smooth performance are typical for Nylon. Nylon has one of the widest ranges of sizes and shapes, including thin sheet to massive blocks. The Natural Extruded Nylon type 6 are readily available.

Between the Delrin and POM-C rods, both materials are incredibly durable and easily machinable, and they have very comparable physical properties. They do look the same, but in practical use there are some differences that may make one better than the other. It also depends heavily on your application.
