One of the best known variety slip tolerant engineering plastics is Natural Cast Natural Nylon type 66 material. This grade of plastic has been one of the chief mechanical plastics for almost 50 years.

Dupont Black Extruded Nylon type 6 material

Dupont Nylon is well known for being wear resistant. Nylon is a common material for critical needs like machining critical wear parts for machines.  If Nylon is a material you would like to know more about simply click here, %LINK%
Long running and smooth performance are typical for Nylon. Nylon has one of the widest ranges of sizes and shapes, including thin sheet to massive blocks. The Natural Extruded Nylon type 6 are readily available.

Between the Delrin and POM-C rods, both materials are incredibly durable and easily machinable, and they have very comparable physical properties. They do look the same, but in practical use there are some differences that may make one better than the other. It also depends heavily on your application. As with all plastic materials, be sure to check the typical properties data sheet for the applicable properties you may need for your application.
