Polytetraflouroethylene (TFE) and Kynar - PVDF are both on allocation.

PTFE - Polytetrafluoroethylene  products, PTFE (TFE) and PVDF  manufacturing requires a mineral called Fluorspar that is mined in Mongolia and China. The worldwide need for this mineral has increased significantly, as well as supply has tightened. PTFE materials have high heat resistance, excellent chemical resistance and very low co-efficient of friction (slick) and is used in a great deal of purposes from non-stick fry cookware to ptfe tape for personal use. This mineral is a essential raw materials within the production of fluoropolymers, fluorolubricants and a lot of refrigerants. This escalating demand combined with shortage of raw materials has caused a dramatic price increase (almost double within the past year), shortages, and we expect these two factors to continue in the near future.
